RHL Phonics 1

This course helps young learners connect letters and sounds so they can begin reading words (decoding) and spell words (encoding). Each lesson will have a short, self-paced slideshow, teaching guide, and workbook pages.

Like everything we make at Rabbit Hole Learning, this course is designed to be inclusive and neurodivergent-affirming, so every kind of learner has room to grow.

This course, its Teacher's Guide, and its companion workbook are independent, original resources created by Rabbit Hole Learning.

The lessons follow the order in which letters, sounds, and heart words are introduced in the UFLI Foundations lesson sequence, so a learner can practice alongside that program. Neither resource is UFLI Foundations curriculum. They are not created, published, sponsored, endorsed, or approved by UFLI, the University of Florida Literacy Institute, the University of Florida, or the publishers of UFLI Foundations, and no affiliation with any of them is claimed or implied.

UFLI, UFLI Foundations, and related names are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the lesson sequence this resource is aligned to.

All activities, page layouts, word lists, sentences, directions, and teacher language in these resources are original to Rabbit Hole Learning. They do not reproduce UFLI lesson materials, scripts, passages, or illustrations, and they do not replace any core reading program.
