What this lesson is about
A review of everything, with all the consonants and vowels. This is a good point to see what your child feels confident about after exploring this unit.
Try it
- Pick sounds out of a bag or off cards and model each sound, then let your child copy or notice how it feels. Naming where a sound is made is optional.
- Play "buzz or no buzz" with any ten sounds.
- Choose a favorite sound and make up silly words that start with it.
Letters this lesson
- Y: Slant down to the middle, make another slant to meet it, then go straight down.
- Z: Across the top, slant down to the bottom left, then across the bottom.
